Will it slide around on my floor?
The universal cleated rubber backing grips most floor surfaces. On very smooth floors, the tray may shift slightly with heavy use but generally stays in place.
How do I clean salt residue?
Hose off with water and allow to dry. For heavy salt buildup, a mild detergent solution helps dissolve residue. Rinse thoroughly.
Is this the same material as regular WaterHog mats?
Yes. The WaterHog Boot Tray uses the same 24 oz solution-dyed PET surface and 68-mil SBR rubber backing as standard WaterHog mats, just in a compact tray format with the water dam border.
Can I put this in a washing machine?
No. The rubber backing and water dam construction are not designed for machine washing. Clean by vacuuming, shaking out, or hosing off.
