The 1/8″ solid PVC construction is rigid enough to distribute point loads from furniture legs and casters, preventing the dents and impressions that damage flooring. The V-groove surface pattern isn’t decorative — it provides traction for foot traffic, making this ideal for walkways, ramps, and inclines where slip resistance matters.

Unlike rubber runners that can leave marks or transfer color to flooring, vinyl is chemically stable and won’t stain or discolor the floor underneath. It’s also chemical resistant, so spills won’t damage the runner or seep through to the floor below.

The runner rolls up easily for storage between events or when access to the floor is needed. Unroll it for conferences, trade shows, holiday parties, or any temporary high-traffic situation. Or install it permanently in walkways, corridors, and transition areas where floor protection is always needed.

V-Groove Pattern Explained

The V-groove surface pattern serves two purposes:

Installation

Sure Tread V-Groove can be installed temporarily or permanently:

Temporary Installation

1. Unroll runner on clean, dry floor
2. Allow to flatten (may take several hours if tightly rolled)
3. Position as needed
4. No adhesive required for most applications
5. Roll up for storage when done

Permanent Installation

1. Unroll and allow to acclimate to room temperature
2. Position runner
3. Secure edges with double-sided carpet tape or vinyl adhesive
4. For high-traffic areas, consider perimeter taping

Cutting

• Cut with utility knife or heavy scissors
• Score and snap for straight cuts
• Use straightedge for clean lines

Cleaning Instructions

Sure Tread V-Groove mats require minimal maintenance:

1. Sweep or vacuum loose debris
2. Scrub with deck brush using neutral pH detergent (as needed)
3. Rinse with hose or pressure washer
4. Hang or lay flat to dry
5. Ensure completely dry before rolling for storage
