Made from 100% recycled PET (the same plastic used in drink bottles), REPP-Tile delivers commercial-grade durability while supporting a truly sustainable closed-loop lifecycle. When tiles wear out after years of service, they can be recycled into new REPP-Tiles — not thrown away.

But sustainability is only part of the story. REPP-Tile’s heavy 70 oz/yd² needle-punched construction aggressively scrapes dirt and moisture from shoes, outperforming lighter-weight alternatives in high-traffic environments. The broken diagonal pattern creates visual interest while hiding dirt between cleanings.

Installation

REPP-Tile installs easily using TacFast tape or any double-sided 4″ wide carpet tape (sold separately).

1. Ensure subfloor is clean, dry, and level
2. Plan tile layout starting from the center of the space
3. Apply tape to subfloor in a grid pattern
4. Press tiles firmly into place, alternating direction for checkerboard appearance
5. Trim edge tiles as needed with a utility knife

For best results, allow tiles to acclimate to room temperature before installation.

Cleaning and Maintenance

M+A Matting recommends daily cleaning to maintain performance and appearance.

Daily: Vacuum with a commercial-grade vacuum cleaner with rotary power brush or beater bar.

Quarterly: Use high-performance hot water extraction (steam cleaning) a minimum of 4 times per year. Increase to 6 times annually in high-traffic areas or environments with heavy salt, sand, or dirt.

How many tiles do I need?
Measure your space in square feet, then divide by 2.64 (sq ft per tile). REPP-Tile is sold in cases of 16 tiles covering 42.25 sq ft. Order extra tiles (5-10%) for cuts and future replacements.

Can REPP-Tile be used outdoors?
REPP-Tile is designed primarily for indoor entryways. For outdoor applications, consider WaterHog or Brush Hog mats.

What happens when tiles wear out?
Individual tiles can be replaced without removing the entire installation. At end of life, REPP-Tile can be recycled through M+A Matting’s recycling program, turning old tiles into new ones.

Do I need the TacFast tape?
Yes, tape or adhesive is required for secure installation. TacFast tape (M+A item #984) is recommended but any quality double-sided 4″ carpet tape will work.

How long do REPP-Tiles last?
With proper maintenance, expect 5+ years of service in commercial environments, depending on traffic volume.
