DuraComfort (formerly Happy Feet) features a dense foam cushion fully encapsulated in nitrile rubber — sealed on all sides, not just the top. This makes it one of the few anti-fatigue mats rated for both wet and dry industrial environments, and tough enough to use over grates without breaking down.
Available with textured surface for dry/damp areas or grip surface for wet environments where extra traction is critical.
Most anti-fatigue mats fail in wet environments. Water seeps into the foam, degrades the cushion, and creates slip hazards. DuraComfort Mat solves this by fully encapsulating the foam cushion in nitrile rubber — top, bottom, and all edges. Water can’t get in, and the mat maintains its anti-fatigue properties even in wet industrial settings.
The 1/2″ thick construction with 3/8″ dense nitrile foam cushion provides genuine fatigue relief while the penetration-proof nitrile surface handles welding slag, oil, grease, and chemicals. It’s also ESD conductive and can be sterilized in an autoclave — making it popular in labs, cleanrooms, and food processing facilities.

What’s the difference between textured and grip surface?
Textured surface is designed for dry and damp environments with standard traction needs. Grip surface has raised bubbles that provide significantly more traction in wet environments — notice the Wet BPN rating of 82 vs. 34 for textured.
Can I autoclave this mat?
Yes, textured surface mats can be sterilized in an autoclave. Grip surface mats should not be autoclaved — use hand washing instead.
What happened to Happy Feet mats?
Happy Feet was renamed to DuraComfort. Same product, new name.
Can I use this mat over grates?
Yes. The fully encapsulated nitrile construction makes DuraComfort especially popular for use over grated flooring. The sealed design won’t break down from exposure underneath.
Is this mat suitable for food processing?
Yes. The nitrile rubber is grease/oil proof, chemical resistant, and can be autoclaved for sanitation. It’s commonly used in food and beverage production facilities.
What’s the difference between DuraComfort Mat and Hog Heaven?
Both are heavy-duty industrial anti-fatigue mats with similar specs (welding safe, ESD, NFSI certified). The key difference is DuraComfort’s fully encapsulated foam design, which makes it suitable for wet environments. Hog Heaven is designed primarily for dry environments.
